DWM poll inspired rewatch Week 7: The War Games  
The rewatch continues with the last Patrick Troughton story, the last Black and White story and the first to feature the timelords. It achieved the rating of 82.18%, placing it at number 29. This story is noteable for being one of the biggest gainers from the previous DWM poll (the 5th highest overall and the highest in our rewatch) gaining 5.87 points and almost completely swapping positions with Logopolis.

Reference in Mr. Bean  
I'm quite a lurker here, and I guess this is my first post.

Anyway, I've been watching Mr. Bean episodes lately. In the Christmas episode Mr. Bean is playing with some figurines (including sheep and cows). But there's also one particular figurine that has something to do with Doctor Who.

I was wondering...  


...Hello! Hi! I've been lurking here for God knows how long. But I'm running out into the open at last with a random thought.
 

So we know the TARDIS is getting a makeover for 2010. Has it occurred to anyone else that this means RTD might have it completely destroyed in DT's last episodes, to give the Moff a decent excuse for revamping it?

Or is it just my Doctor Who deprived brain coming up with strange conclusions again?

K9  
saw the first of the new K9 show yesterday. A very run of the mill children's programme & I don't think much of the new look K9 or his behaviour - I might watch the next one but I doubt I'll be watching many more. I just hope he keeps appearing in SJA

Okay. Now I'm worried  

For the most part I'm fairly confident in Steven, Matt and Karen's ability to do well in the next series. Steven is a brilliant writer (no-one can deny that) and if Matt was chosen after three weeks of auditions that I'm certain he will do well. And after the mess RTD has been making of things recently things can only get better right?

Well I just saw this and now I'm worried.

Nobody's said much about SJA.  
Just one thought....I think that the writing on this series' Sarah Jane Adventures has been some of the strongest so far. In fact, better than some Who ( Jacqueline Rayner, j'accuse ). What does anyone think of the Sarah Jane Adventures ?

I didn't think much of Series/Season 1 at all, really weak and kind of almost done as a long afterthought. But the last series and what I've seen of this year have been truly magnificent.
