Much as I enjoyed the sneak preview of The End of Time, the irrepressible Barrowman was another CiN highlight.

Surely he's the man to replace Uncle Terry in the fullness of time? And yes, you can bid on his used boxer shorts.

I just found a "sneak peek" video of the upcoming "End of Time" special on the BBC America site: http://www.bbcamerica.com/content/123/doctor-who-video.jsp?bclid=26821308001&bctid=51597547001

Based on reaction posts recently appearing in this comm, it appears that this might be the same video that was aired in the UK for Children in Need. Can anyone confirm?

Okay, so I've always loved Ten's hugs (and Nine's too, for that matter) and I decided to celebrate that in a picspam. I posted it in my journal and I thought I'd share.

No spoilers for anything beyond Journey's End.

Title: The Guardian (part 2 of 5)
Author: Madam Backslash

Rating: PG
Spoilers: Assume spoilage for everything up to and including Children of Earth
Cast: This part: OCs (bear with me)
Pairing/s: Canon
Summary: The Jones family has lived in Cardiff for a very long time...
Disclaimer: I don't own these characters and am not making money out of them
Notes: All hail my best friend, heart-sister and beta reader [info]estoile. Without her, this quite literally would not have been written.

Owain walked into the clearing and stood for a long, silent moment, hands on hips, before settling down cross-legged on the grass. The trees cast elongated shadows in the twilight, and the evening chorus was loud in his ears.

Who wants some particularly cracktastic speculation?

Every now and then someone comes up with an insane theory about how the season finale is going to play out, and I thought that on this occasion I'd join in.

My theory goes as follows:

Insanity inside, spoilers for The End of Time and the CIN segment )

I don't, for a moment, expect anyone to take this seriously.

According to Ausiello The End of Time Part 1 will air on BBC America December 26 @ 9PM

So this means we'll be getting an episode of Doctor Who just one day after it airs in the UK!

THANK YOU BBC!!!

Mods, is it worth having a "Children in Need" tag?

So. Squee post. You know what to do. Probable spoilers in comments.

We've currently got John Barrowman dancing around in his shorts, we'll have a trailer for the forthcoming special later.

Edit: Trailer was screened at 20:15, lasted about three and a half minutes.

I did it! I've made a picspam about The Waters of Mars, and if you saw the episode you'd understand why, a picspam about this episode, was so difficult to make... cos IT HURTS! It hurts so bad, I admit - without shame - that I cryed even making this! Just a quick look at the screencaps made me sad!

But I decided to do this anyway cos this was one of the best Doctor Who episode that I ever saw! And, since I've made one for Planet of the Dead I couldn't let it pass away.

So I did it, and I hope you like it.

Thousands of years ago (August of 2000) I made some short and silly animated videos for the folks who hung out with me on rec.arts.drwho back then. They never quite died out, and my dear friend and fellow recovering RADWer [info]snowgrouse convinced me to put them out there myself again.

videos and backstory behind the cut )
